The immense surge of school spirit that took hold of Gainesville, Florida following the championship still hangs in the air but now seems to be slowly trickling back to normal. "Two days after we won, I bought a National Championship shirt," said Kelly Griffin, a University of Florida finance student, "The thrill of winning seemed to be effecting everyone in the city."
