The North Florida Regional Office of Senator Mel Martinez is now open.  Our address is 1650 Prudential Drive; Suite 220; Jacksonville, Florida 32207. We are located across the street from the Radisson Hotel and the Duval County School Board.  You can also get to us by taking the Jacksonville SkyRail to the Kings Ave Station.

THIS WEEK IN THE U.S. SENATE

The Senate kicks off the week by continuing work on the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill. Senate appropriators also vote Tuesday and Thursday on several other fiscal 2006 bills.

Negotiations continue on compromise versions of the highway bill and the energy bill.

On Tuesday, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addresses a joint meeting of Congress.

The House takes up a bill to reauthorize expiring provisions of the anti-terrorism law known as the Patriot Act. The schedule also includes a reauthorization of NASA programs.
