Irish Music and Art to Remember

C.L. Heuss

Music and Art enjoyed by all.

High Springs, FL -  The shop with lovely things form the Emerald Isle... was the place to be for a delightful evening of Irish Music and Art.  A feast for the senses best describes a panoramic look at this unusual shop. There is fine crystal, china, heirloom linen, delectable morsels of Irish origin, art for all tastes, music to calm, cheer or inspire, gifts galore and hospitality as warm as a Galway Bay breeze.  The owner, Ellen Fitzpatrick, offers the highest quality of Irish merchandise hand selected during a couple of trips each year to Ireland. Ellen has combined the friendly southern charm of relaxing, visiting and shopping along High Springs First Avenue with the unique blend of gifts with the customer's convenience in mind.  The shop is filled with original art work and hand made items of the highest quality. It is truly a delight to visit this shop. With each purchase Ellen is eager to tell you all about he heritage, history and folk lore that goes along with your selection.

The evenings affair included the enchanting tunes of musicians Virginia Boone and Larry Reeves, of the Blue Druids, Gainesville's own Celtic stylist.

Also on display were wonderful pastels by Carol Baier.  These inspirational paintings depict the spiritual side of the artist.  In addition to painting, Carol writes poetry.  With each painting or poem there is a touching tale to go along.
